Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actor. She is most famous for her roles in the movies The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden in her role on the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She became famous for her role on Rectify (a comedy) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut in the role in the soap-opera All My Children. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the most outstanding female newcomer. Her main role was character roles as a guest throughout the span of many years. The show she appeared on received praise for her character she played in the show as The Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and impressive acting skills led to her gaining an ardent fan base. In the film Campfire Stones, she played in the role in the film at age 20. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are other films where she was featured. The role she played for in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. The most recent role she has played on TV has been in the leading role of history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics regarding her character in the sci-fi series Timeless. The actress received nominations for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
